We are super excited to welcome our newest SUP instructor into the Paddle Diva fold for Summer 2015. A Pennsylvania hometown girl turned New York City actress, Jessica Cadden Osborne grew up frolicking in the Atlantic surf during her childhood trips to the Maryland shore – and she can’t think of a better way to spend her summer than on a SUP in the Hamptons!
Jessica started dancing at the age of three and developed an appreciation for a life based on movement. After receiving a BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she moved to New York City where she auditioned to become a Radio City Rockette. Among hundreds who audition each year, Jessica was chosen and has been performing with the prestigious group for the last seven years.
Jessica is a certified Pilates instructor and TRX trainer; she earned her 200-hour Yoga Alliance-approved certification in France in 2014, allowing her to teach yoga in Manhattan.
More importantly, Jessica is ASI Level One Certified for SUP instruction and is certified to teach SUP Yoga, one of her favorite activities. She is an avid competitive runner with a goodly number of half-marathons under her belt, and her first full New York City Marathon coming up this November.
When she’s not paddling, Jessica enjoys rock climbing, surfing, and working on her boxing skills at the famous Gleasons in Brooklyn. She’s also an aerialist and teaches Salsa Dance.
What can’t Jessica do? We’re not sure, but if you want to know more about what she CAN do, visit her website at http://www.jessicacaddenosborne.com.
