The end of the school year is nearing and if you’re still wondering what to do to keep your kids busy this Summer, take a look at our list of summer activities for kids in the Hamptons.
Pony Camp at Rita’s Stables. Rita’s Stable is a family-operated business that offers trail rides for all skill levels, pony camps and pony rides. For over 30 years, Rita Foster has shared her love of horses and horseback riding to the Montauk community. You can call her directly to find out more about their lessons and pony camp this summer.
Summer Junior Lifeguard Program. Open to kids 9 – 14, the program aims to help kids learn lifeguarding skills, develop team work, and learn about the ocean and water environment while having fun. The program is free of charge but participants must first pass the swim test to qualify. The swim test will be conducted every Sunday, 1:00 – 2:00 pm at YMCA East Hampton RECenter Pool from March 8 – June 14. The program starts June 20. Scott Bradley’s Ocean Awareness and Safety Course. Paddle Diva’s very own Scott Bradley (a former Ocean NCAA Division 1 swimmer, an Association of Surfing Instructors Master SUP instructor, certified ocean lifeguard and active member of the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad) will be conducting two four-week sessions in July and August designed to ensure kids (and grown-ups) have a safe and fun-filled summer.
